CHRIST-CENTERED MINISTRY LEADERSHIP
- Demonstrate a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and model Christ-centered servant leadership.
- Champion Care Net's Mission, Vision, Core Values, Statement of Faith, and life-affirming ministry.
- Provide spiritual leadership, encouragement, prayer, and direction to staff and volunteers.
- Foster a culture of compassion, dignity, grace, integrity, accountability, and excellence.
- Ensure Care Net's Christian identity is reflected throughout its programs, services, communications, and relationships.
STRATEGIC & ORGANIZATIONAL LEADERSHIP
- Implement the Strategic Plan and Board-approved priorities.
- Translate strategic priorities into annual goals, measurable objectives, and departmental plans.
- Evaluate organizational and ministry effectiveness using appropriate data and outcomes.
- Ensure staffing, programs, finances, technology, and resources are aligned with the organization's Mission and strategic priorities.
- Identify opportunities, challenges, risks, and emerging needs that will affect Care Net's future.
BOARD RELATIONSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY
- Serve as the primary staff liaison to the Board of Directors.
- Maintain a transparent, collaborative, and accountable relationship with the Board.
- Attend Board meetings and provide timely reports regarding ministry impact, finances, staffing, operations, development, and strategic progress.
- Implement Board-approved policies, budgets, priorities, and strategic direction.
- Maintain a clear distinction between Board governance and staff operational responsibilities.
STAFF & VOLUNTEER LEADERSHIP
- Recruit, supervise, develop, evaluate, and retain qualified staff who support Care Net's Mission and Christian values.
- Establish clear responsibilities, expectations, goals, and accountability.
- Provide leadership development, training, encouragement, and appropriate correction.
- Facilitate regular staff and leadership meetings that promote communication, prayer, teamwork, problem-solving, and accountability.
- Ensure volunteers are appropriately recruited, trained, supported, and equipped for ministry.
- Build a healthy organizational culture characterized by trust, teamwork, clarity, compassion, and excellence.
MINISTRY PROGRAMS & PATIENT/CLIENT IMPACT
- Provide executive oversight of all patient/client services and ministry programs.
- Ensure patients/clients receive compassionate, confidential, professional, life-affirming, and Christ-centered support.
- Work with the Medical Services Manager and Client Services Director to assess patient/client needs and evaluate program effectiveness and outcomes.
- Ensure that appropriate systems are in place for patient/client access, follow-up, education, discipleship, referrals, and community connections.
- Evaluate programs for mission alignment, effectiveness, sustainability, staffing capacity, and financial impact.
FINANCIAL STEWARDSHIP & OPERATIONS
- Work with the Treasurer, Finance Committee, and appropriate staff to develop and manage the annual budget.
- Provide oversight of revenues, expenditures, financial controls, restricted funds, and resource allocation.
- Ensure accurate financial and organizational records and timely reporting to the Board.
- Oversee day-to-day operations, policies, procedures, facilities, technology, data systems, and administrative infrastructure.
- Ensure appropriate confidentiality, compliance, risk management, and internal controls.
- Model faithful stewardship, transparency, integrity, and accountability in the use of all resources entrusted to Care Net.
FUND DEVELOPMENT & DONOR RELATIONSHIPS
- Provide leadership for Care Net's annual development and fundraising strategy.
- Cultivate and steward relationships with donors, churches, foundations, businesses, and community partners.
- Participate actively in major fundraising initiatives, campaigns, events, sponsorships, and donor communications.
- Work with the Board and Development staff to identify and cultivate new sources of financial support.
- Communicate the ministry's impact and financial needs clearly and effectively.
COMMUNITY, CHURCH & PUBLIC RELATIONS
- Serve as a visible ambassador for Care Net within the community.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with pastors, churches, community organizations, professionals, and strategic partners.
- Represent Care Net appropriately in public, media, church, and community settings.
- Provide oversight of marketing, branding, communications, digital presence, and public messaging.
- Strengthen awareness of Care Net's services and mission among the individuals and communities it serves.
CONTINUOUS IMPROVEMENT & SUSTAINABILITY
- Promote a culture of evaluation, learning, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor ministry, financial, development, staffing, and operational indicators.
- Address organizational gaps, inefficiencies, and risks.
- Help develop future leaders and support succession planning.
- Ensure Care Net remains sustainable and prepared to fulfill its Mission for future generations.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrates a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ and a commitment to Christian ministry.
- Fully supports Care Net's Statement of Faith, Statement of Principle, Mission, Vision, Core Values, and life-affirming ministry.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent leadership experience preferred.
- Demonstrated leadership experience, preferably in a Christian nonprofit, ministry, pregnancy center, healthcare, family-support, or community-service organization.
- Experience supervising and developing staff and leading organizational operations.
- Experience with budgeting, financial oversight, fundraising, donor development, and community relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking, organizational, interpersonal, communication, writing, and public-speaking skills.
- Demonstrates sound judgment, initiative, flexibility, problem-solving ability, confidentiality, emotional maturity, integrity, and a strong work ethic.
- Proficient in technology and organizational management systems.
